J-School revamps website

The FAMU School of Journalism's spot on the world wide web recently underwent an "extreme makeover" giving it a fresh and more relevant look.
The new site touts the school's hands on approach to teaching through its student run media companies the FAMUAN, Journey Magazine, WANM-FM, PRodigy PR firm, and FAMU TV 20. The schools new high tech 100,000 sq ft. facility is placed front and center also.
"The School of Journalism and Graphic Communication (SJGC) receives high marks for the quality of its graduates.Our students have earned the coveted Hearst Medallion, Associated Press awards and numerous other honors for their work on multiple media platforms," the site says. "The School is highly committed to providing the highest quality of instruction to students."
