Billy Rolle, (pictured in white shirt), who coached the Miami Northwestern Bulls to a Class 6A state championship this year was named the Florida Dairy Farmers Florida Coach of the Year. He is the first Miami-Dade County coach to win the award, which began in 1992.
Rolle will be presented the award during a ceremony Friday morning at Northwestern. He is the only coach in Dade history to win state titles at two different schools.
Rolle's team finished 15-0 record this year and coasted to a 41-0 victory over Boone High School to win the 6A state championship.
Coach Rolle was defensive standout for the Rattlers and is a member of the FAMU Sports Hall of Fame.

ReplyDeleteAre we going backwards? Why the hello is Ammons not listening to staff. Phyllis Watson was on her way out, has openly admitted she knows nothing about cash managment. Yet we give her more money and promote her. Barbara Clayton is going to once again become the director for Sponsored Programs. NSF asked that she be fired, C&G is tore up - who does Barbara know and who does phyllis watson know, VP hardy come on sister, we know you see this. WE have fired more people for less, I mean, how many mess ups do you get and why do we keep these people. Ammons you are abut to have a walk-out. Listen to the little people. Is the good Ole boy system at work again. ANd when the hell is Keith Jackson going to go. You may talk about us students and staff people, but Faculty and A&P, you guys are not helping the cause.
ReplyDeleteDr. Ammons you had better talk to your people in Sponsored Programs cause it is about to get ugly if Clayton returns.
