The FAMU baseball team came from behind yesterday to win a 7-6 thriller from Delaware State in the first round of the 2008 MEAC baseball tournament. Thursday's game snapped a five-game MEAC Tournament losing skid for the Rattlers, who had not won a first round tourney game since 2004.
The Rattlers advance in the winner's bracket to face second-seeded North Carolina A&T, a 4-2 winner over host Norfolk State, Friday at 2:00 p.m.
FAMU (20-20) fell behind 5-0 in the first four innings and trailed 6-4 going into the bottom of the ninth.
