FAMU grad Nate Jacobs's recently released single "Keep Marching"is making its way up the Billboard record charts. The song which Jacobs introduced as a gospel, debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales Chart for two week, before falling the next week to No. 22. However, its been climbing again since then.

On June 26, "Keep Marching" became No. 2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Single Sales Chart, right behind Solange Knowles, the younger sister of superstar singer Beyoncé Knowles.

After years of singing, writing and producing musicals, Jacobs finally took time to work on his singing career.

The "Keep Marching" single CD was written and performed by Jacobs.

The video features members of the Florida A&M Marching Band and Calvin "Beau Dilly" White adding an R&B/hip-hop spin to the crossover recording.

The video was filmed in one day, on Tuesday, May 12, at the FAMU band practice field.
