Classes started yesterday and students are already showing their school spirit. SGA President Andrew Collins and VP Mellori Lumpin, pictured above, get the student body pumped at the concluding event to the "Welcome Week" activities.
This Friday, University President James Ammons will open the school year with a "State of the University Address" during the Annual President’s Convocation at 10:10 a.m. in Gaither Gym.
The program will also feature introductions of the FAMU Rattler Football coaching staff and the Marching “100.”
By all indications, enrollment will be up this year by over 600 students over last year.
