FAMU's Department of Music has launched a recruitment and outreach tour in South Florida titled “Working Together to Stop Hazing.” It is part of the university’s efforts to rebuild the Marching 100 with members who are fully committed to FAMU’s anti-hazing rules.

The “Working Together to Stop Hazing” tour features some of FAMU’s music ensembles performing such tunes as “Do I Do,”  “Ain’t No Mountain,”  “Sweet Love,” “There Goes My Baby, “Pusher Love Girl,” “Breaking My Heart,” “Before I Let Go” and “SOS.”

After the ensemble performances, high school students will have an opportunity to audition for a FAMU music scholarship. Presidential scholarships will also be awarded to qualified students. High school seniors are encouraged to apply for admission to FAMU before the event.

The tour began in Weston. It will also stop in Miami and West Palm Beach.
