The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) selected four Rattlers for its 2013 All-Academic baseball team. The honorees are Heath Blackburn, David Duncan, Jaylin Earl and Bennie Robinson.

Blackburn is a senior pitcher from Tallahassee, Duncan is a senior pitcher from Starke, Earl is a sophomore third baseman from Tampa and Robinson is a junior infielder from Ocala.

MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average as well as transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year are eligible for All-Academic accolades.

"I congratulate our baseball student-athletes who have maintained a 3.0 or better grade point average during this academic school year," said Commissioner Dennis E. Thomas. “In addition to recognizing the student-athletes achievements, I also applaud the athletic academic support staffs, coaching staffs and all persons who contributed to the academic success of these student-athletes."
