The event is a part of the Tampa Classic Football Weekend,
where the FAMU Rattlers will take on the Tennessee State University Tigers at
Raymond James Stadium, which will take place at 6 p.m., on Saturday, September
16.
The recruitment event will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m., at Jefferson High School located at 4401 W. Cypress St. The first 100 high school seniors in attendance will receive a free ticket to the FAMU vs. Tennessee game.
Students in attendance will get to meet one-on-one with
recruiters from some of the University’s top degree programs, including
nursing, business, health sciences, engineering, biological sciences,
psychology, criminology, education, computer science, and animal science.
Students will also hear from the University’s Interim President Larry Robinson,
Ph.D., Vice President for Student Affairs William Hudson Jr., Ph.D., members of
the FAMU National Alumni Association, and student leaders and performers.
