Florida A&M University’s occupational therapy program in the School of Allied Health has received its 2017 scores from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

The 2017 cohort received a 100 percent pass rate. All 19 of the students were first-time test takers.

“I am so very pleased with the success of our students on the 2017 occupational therapy licensure exam, which is the direct result of the concerted efforts of our faculty and the motivation of our students to perform at the highest level,” said Cynthia Hughes Harris, dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences.

Debora Oliveira, Ph.D., is the Director of the Division of Occupational Therapy.

FAMU’s occupational therapy program is ranked among the nation’s best graduate health programs, according to U.S. News & World Report.
