FAMU was picked to finish 5th, out of 10, in the MEAC preseason poll. The Rattlers have notched conference wins over Savannah State, NC Central, and Norfolk State. FAMU faces its biggest test of the season this Saturday when the Rattlers travel to Greensboro, NC to take on defending conference champions, and preseason #1, the NC A&T Aggies.
Tropical Storm Michael which is heading up the Gulf of Mexico toward Tallahassee, could limit the Rattlers practice time this week.
