MJ Randolph honored as MEAC Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has named freshman Florida A&M University guard MJ Randolph its Rookie of the Week for men's basketball.  This is Randolph's fourth time winning the award this season.  As a starter, Randolph has been a well-rounded player contributing on both the offensive and defensive ends.  A natural shooting guard, he has played point guard for coach Robert McCullum in several games this season.

Randolph (6-4, Fr., G, Pensacola, Fla.) scored 12 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out five assists and grabbed three steals in two games for the Rattlers. He scored eight points with three steals and three assists in Saturday’s overtime loss to Maryland Eastern Shore, and he had four points, seven rebounds and two assists in Monday’s victory over Delaware State.

For the season, he averages 8 points-per-game, and 4 rebounds.  He has collected 31 assists and 20 steals this season as well.
