FAMU HCASC team finishes 2nd, earns $30k in prize money

The FAMU Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC) team consisting of Kimberlyn ElliottNicholas WalkerJames WilsonBryan Anderson(captain), David Kadiri and Karishma Lukose, finished in second place at the 48-team national championship winning $30,000 in prize money. 

 The team, coached by Vivian Hobbs, Ph.D., a retired FAMU English and Humanities professor, loss in the championship game to Spelman College.  Hobbs is the winningest coach in the 30-year history of the HCASC. Her (FAMU) teams have won eight national championships and brought home more than $600,000 in prize money.
