Jaguars sweep Rattlers in NCAA baseball tuneup

The FAMU Rattler baseball team, yesterday, faced off against the Jaguars of Southern University yesterday in Pensacola, FL.  The Jags and Rattlers played two seven-inning contests pitting the MEAC Champs against the SWAC Champs in a post-season tune up for the NCAA baseball regionals.

Southern won both games 9-2 and 9-7.

The contest took place at the Pensacola Blue Wahoos Stadium.  The game was a rematch of sorts as both teams faced each other in a season opening contest in New Orleans, LA, in February, with the Jags besting the Rattlers 6-3.
