Coach Willie Simmons’ first trip back to the Lone Star State since becoming the Rattlers’ head coach, yesterday, yielded Texas sized results as the FAMU faithful contributed nearly $21,000 on the Houston stop of his Willienium Tour.
Sixteen alums, led by former FAMU Foundation Chair Thomas Jones, Jr., listened to Coach Simmons share his vision for Rattler football, his outlook for the 2019 season, and his immediate needs for support to return the Rattlers to the top.
The next stop on the Willienium tour is Dallas (this evening).
