FAMU quarterback Ryan Stanley completed 30-of-49 passes for 427-yards including three touchdowns to lead the Rattlers to a 42-38 victory over South Carolina State Saturday (Oct. 12th) in Orangeburg, SC. The win helped the Rattlers snap a 14 game losing streak to the Bulldogs and was FAMU's first on filed victory in SC since 2011 (the victory was later vacated by the NCAA).

The FAMU offense racked up 505 total yards against the Bulldog defense, while FAMU's defense surrendered 348-yards.

The Rattlers improved to 5-1 overall, 3-0 MEAC, and are off to their best start since the 2000 season.

FAMU returns home on Saturday, Oct. 19 to face off against North Carolina A&T State. Kickoff against the Aggies is set for 6 p.m. at Bragg Memorial Stadium. A&T is the defending MEAC Champs and HBCU Champions.

Last season, the Rattlers edged the Aggies, 22-21, at BB&T Stadium in Greensboro, N.C.
