Rattlers notch 7th straight victory in 24-12 road win against Morgan

The No. 20 ranked FAMU football team didn’t need any late-game heroics on Saturday afternoon to extended its win streak to seven games with a 24-12 victory over Morgan State in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) game in Baltimore. 

The Rattlers led by redshirt freshman QB Rasean McKay who started in place of Ryan Stanley, who is nursing a shoulder injury, completed 25 of 35 passes, with one touchdown and one interception. He completed passes to six different receivers amassing 247 yards passing.  FAMU gained another 117 yards on the ground rushing.

FAMU improved to 7-1 overall, 5-0 MEAC, while Morgan dropped to 1-7 overall, 1-4 MEAC.

Next up for the Rattlers is conference foe Delaware State (1-7 overall, 0-5 MEAC).  The Hornets will travel to Tallahassee for a 4 p.m. match up in Bragg Stadium.
