The Hansel Tookes Student Recreation Center (HTRC) reopened yesterday for the fall semester with a new plan in place that takes into account our new reality during the COVID-19 pandemic.   The HTRC will have limited capacity capped at 156 people at any time in the more than 60,000 sq ft. building.

Students using the Tookes Center will need to schedule their workouts using the center’s “Come & Play” app.

Group exercise classes will be limited to 12 people, and the main gym floor capacity with be limited to 67 people at any time.  Basketball games will only be permitted on outside courts.

Additional aspects of the “rec centers” safety plan can be found here.
