FAMU grad student accepts fellowship with Henry Ford Health System

Darren Evans
, PharmD, MPH, C.Ph, a second-year student in the FAMU School of Allied Health Sciences' master of health administration program, has accepted an administrative fellowship with the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. 

Evans is one of four fellows selected for the 2021-2022 academic year and will work directly with the CEO of the Henry Ford Health System.  Evans also holds the PharmD, and Masters in Public Health degrees from FAMU.  

“I felt Henry Ford Health Systems was a great fit for me and my career goals," he said.

HFS is one the nation's largest group practices with more than 30,000 employees, 1,200 physicians, and a Level 1 Trauma Center.  It is recognized for clinical excellence in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, and sports medicine.

Evans is an adjunct professor in the FAMU College of Pharmacy.
