FAMU's Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC) team has advanced to the championship game and will face the team from NC A&T this evening at 6 p.m.  The Rattlers will be looking to win their ninth HCASC championship.

The HCASC is a multi-day competition of more than 300 of the best and brightest HBCU students who put their knowledge through the paces as they handle questions on topics ranging from world history to popular culture. The 63 team teams in the tournament compete for the coveted national championship trophy and a $50,000 grant for their school.

The Honda Campus All-Star Challenge showcases the proud academic heritage of the nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the great minds these institutions have produced and continue to produce to the benefit of our country. The competition promotes intellectual proficiency, but also reinforces the kind of values that define character and give young people the confidence and character they need to succeed throughout their lives.

The competition gets underway at 6 p.m. tonight on facebook.com/HCASC .
