The FAMU men's basketball team (1-1) overpowered division II LeMoyne-Owen College (1-3) to win its 2021-22 season home opener 95-70.
With the victory, the Rattlers have won 13 of their last 14 games inside the Al Lawson Center. FAMU shot 56% from the field and 50% on 3-pointers.
"I'm proud of the team. We got to play a lot of people. We're trying to get some confidence from the guys. We'll build on this as we prepare travel to Miami this Saturday to take on the Hurricanes," said FAMU head coach Robert McCullum.
