Rattlers are playoff bound!

The FAMU Rattler football, this afternoon, received an at-large bid to participate in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.  The Rattlers will travel to Hammond, LA, to take on SE Louisiana University Lions  on November 27^{th  at 7pm.}

FAMU becomes the first HBCU to receive an FCS playoff bid since 2016.  FAMU won the first FCS National Champion in 1978.

Southeast Lousiana finished the regular season 8-3, good for second in the Southland. It lost to FBS Lousiana Tech and Nicholls State, which got the conference’s automatic bid.
