FAMU Athletics' questionable digital strategy

The FAMU Athletics Communications and Digital Strategy staff, which we have been critical of before, puts out some very sophomoric and questionable social media post.  

We have gotten to the point where we just ignore most of them, but yesterday’s Instagram video of a happy looking, smiling, dancing, 0-11 Lady Rattler basketball team looking forward to the start of conference play tomorrow is just the latest. 

 

C’mon now, we are 0-11, we have lost six games by over 25  points, and one game by 58 (Ohio University) and we on "IG dancing"?.

Mind you, the losses haven’t come to big name schools.  We’ve lost to Jacksonville University, the College of Charleston, Tulsa, and Troy.  We can overlook the 29 point loss to the University of Memphis.
 
Otherwise, what we got to smile and be dancing about? 

Shouldn’t the Lady Rattlers be somewhere practicing?  

The athletics communications team’s strategy behind that post was just silly and ill-advised.
 
While we are all  hoping that the Lady Rattlers find their way and pick up some wins SOON, the dancing and celebratory post just looks stupid.
