| FAMU alums Daniel Sunjata & Woody McClain on Power Book II: Ghost season 2 |
No doubt, if you have been watching the hit television series Power Book II: Ghost on Starz you’ve got caught up in the new twist and turns of the storylines and the introduction on new character Dante aka Mecca, played by Daniel Sunjata. Sunjuata attended FAMU his freshman and sophomore year of college before earning his BA at the University of Louisiana Lafayette and MFA from New York University.
Sunjuata’s acting credits includes hit series like Sex and the City, Grey’s Anatomy and his break out film the Devil Wears Prada.
This season of Power Book II Ghost had Sunjuata teaming up with fellow FAMU alum Woody McClain who plays Cane Tejada on the series.
Some of Sanjuata’s other FAMU classmates included Oscar and Grammy award winning rapper Common, Tony Award winning actress Anika Noni Rose .
