FAMU is on par to have a record-breaking year brining in research funding for 2021-22.  So far, the university has taken in more than $72 million in grants from federal, state, and private sources.

With the current fiscal year set to end on June 30th, the university could still post even bigger numbers.

“This record-breaking year is a direct result of the hard work of our faculty and our strategic vision for “Excellent and Renowned Faculty” and “High Impact Research,” said President Larry Robinson.

“These research dollars help to enhance the overall student experience, and help our faculty resolve some of the complex societal issues facing our nation and enhance the quality of life for all,” Robinson added.
