The FAMU Rattler football team extended its home game winning streak to twelve, Saturday, by defeating the Alabama A&M Bulldogs 38-25 before a crowd of 7,595 in Bragg Stadium.
"Excited to get another win, congratulations to the team; the guys fought hard," said head coach Willie Simmons. "We didn't play our best ball in the first half, but the guys came out the second half and really settled down and showed what type of team we are really capable of being."
The Rattlers started off slow again this week turning the ball over on downs on their first possession, and allowing the Bulldogs to score first. The Rattlers trailed the Bulldogs 19-14 at the halftime.
After the half, the Rattlers came out on fire scoring , 24 points in the 3rd and 4th quarters. The Bulldogs did not score again until the final 34 seconds.
