The FAMU School of Architecture and Engineering Technology (SAET) recently held a “lunch and learn” event with students at Ft. Lauderdale’s Blanche Ely High School.  FAMU staff, and alumni, had an opportunity to engage with students and discuss educational opportunities within the SAET and introduce Ely students to architecture, construction design, and construction engineering careers.

With Blacks making up only 2% of the US’s 121,603 licensed architects, FAMU’s SAET plays an important role in helping to diversify the industry.
