Rattlers defeat Bulldogs 42-28, clinch right to host SWAC Championship game

The FAMU Rattler football team defeated the Alabama A&M Bulldogs (4-5, 2-4 SWAC), 42-28 Saturday in Normal, AL.  The victory helped the Rattlers improve to (8-1, 7-0 SWAC) and ensured that FAMU will host the SWAC Championship game in Bragg Memorial Stadium on December 2^nd.

It will be FAMU’s first postseason home game in 25 years, when the Rattlers hosted a first round NCAA Division I-AA (now FCS) playoff game and beat Troy State 27-17.
