Graphic design students win 28 awards at state competition

Three FAMU graphic design students, and one graduate, racked up 28 awards at the 36th Annual Florida Print Awards held in Orlando.  
 
The Florida Print Awards, held by the Florida Alliance, is an annual statewide competition that recognizes the crème de la crème in the print and graphics communications industry.  
 
Senior Destiny Ramirez, senior Ayanna Coy, senior Armani Patterson and Randolph Chase, a 2023 FAMU SJGC graphic design alum represented the FAMU Division of Graphic Communications well at the competition.  
 
Ramirez won six honorable mentions and one “Award of Excellence“.  Coy won seven awards: two “Best of Category” for posters and advertising, three “Awards of Excellence” and two honorable mentions. While, Patterson, brought home six awards including five honorable mentions and one “Award of Excellence”.
 
Chase won seven awards: two “Award of Excellence” and five honorable mentions.
