The heroics began with a leadoff home run, injecting renewed energy into the FAMU dugout. Buoyed by their early success, the Rattlers exercised patience and discipline at the plate, drawing crucial walks to inch closer to overturning the deficit.
FAMU's Sebastian Greico who delivered the decisive blow in the bottom of the ninth, launching a leadoff homer to ignite the Rattlers' late surge. With the game hanging in the balance, FAMU's Adam Haidermota's laid down a well-executed bunt single to load the bases.
