Two FAMU College of Law grads appointed as Judges in Orange and Osceola Counties

Florida Governor
 Ron DeSantis has appointed two FAMU College of Law graduates to serve as judges in Orange and Osceola Counties.

Jeramy Beasley, a 2016 FAMU College of Law graduate, has been appointed as a Judge on the Orange County Court. Beasley's journey to the bench includes attending the evening program at the College of Law while concurrently working full-time as a judicial assistant for Ninth Judicial Circuit Judge Greg Tynan.

 

He previously served as a Litigation Attorney for Garganese, Weiss, D’Agresta & Salzman, P.A. since 2022. Before that, he held the position of Director of Legal Services for the Hillsborough Regional Transit Authority. Beasley earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida.

 

Meanwhile, Juna Pulayya, a resident of St. Cloud, has been appointed to serve as a Judge on the Osceola County Court. Pulayya previously served as a General Magistrate for the Ninth Judicial Circuit since 2022. Prior to his tenure as a magistrate, he worked as an Attorney for JMP Law, P.A. Pulayya earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.


Pulayya is a 2009 graduate of the College of Law.
