The FAMU golf team has clinched the coveted HBCU National Championship, a feat they haven't achieved since 2000.

Throughout the week-long tournament, the Rattlers displayed sheer dominance, consistently leading the pack and culminating in a resounding victory. Their commanding performance saw them finish with a remarkable score of +27, totaling 891 strokes. This remarkable achievement not only secures their second HBCU National Championship but also underscores their prowess on the golfing stage.

This year, the Rattlers once again etched their names in the annals of golfing history, led by the exceptional performance of Marcus Taylor. Taylor, with a score of +2 totaling 218, clinched the coveted title of this year's medalist. His outstanding performance not only propelled FAMU to victory but also marked the ninth time a Rattler has been crowned medalist in the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship history.

Adding to the team's triumph, Patrick Mwendapole secured the second individual finish with a commendable score of +7, totaling 223 strokes. Additionally, Taylor Bell contributed to the Rattlers' success with another impressive top-five finish, posting a score of +10, totaling 226 strokes.
