FAMU’s memorable baseball season came to a close yesterday afternoon with a 14-11 loss to Grambling State in the semifinals game of the SWAC baseball tournament in Atlanta, GA.
The Rattlers were paced by Sebastian Grieco’s three RBIs on two hits. Cody Williams was saddled with the loss after allowing five earned runs during 5.1 innings of work. FAMU finished the season with a 29-27 record and 22-8 in the SWAC.
Grambling State will face Jackson State in the 2024 SWAC Baseball Tournament Championship game tomorrow at 1:00 pm EST live on ESPN+.
