The FAMU Board of Trustees, yesterday, met for three and a half minutes, yesterday to approve a a three-year, contract for Angela Adams Suggs to become FAMU's new Vice President/Director of Athletics. Suggs, currently serves a the President and CEO of the Florida Sports Foundation.
Suggs, a Tallahassee native and graduate of both FAMU High School and FAMU, said “accepting the role of Vice President and Director of Athletics at my alma mater is truly an honor. I am truly humbled by the trust placed in me and look forward to locking arms and working together with all stakeholders in moving FAMU Athletics forward.”
Suggs' is expect to begin her new role in early October.
