Attorney Darryl Parks, a former FAMU Student Government President and candidate for the Florida Senate in District 3, emphasized his commitment to representing the interests of Tallahassee and the Big Bend area.

"As an attorney and small business owner, I've navigated the challenges of making ends meet, raising a family, and building a future," Parks said. "I've dedicated my career to fighting for working families against big corporations, ensuring everyone has a fair shot. My legal experience and problem-solving skills are exactly what Senate District 3 needs for real change."

Parks, who has a history of philanthropic and civic engagement efforts in North Florida, expressed a deep understanding of the issues affecting working people in the district. He has positioned himself as a candidate who can relate to the everyday struggles of citizens and is prepared to tackle them head-on.

When asked about his top priority if elected, Parks was clear: "I will focus on the illegal and immoral price gouging by corporations and insurance companies. It's unacceptable that Floridians are being priced out of their homes with no relief. We need common sense solutions to increase competition, lower rates, and ease the burden on our people. No one should have to choose between feeding their family or keeping a roof over their heads."

Parks also plans to be a strong advocate for FAMU in the state Senate.

Parks' campaign has resonated with many in the Tallahassee and Big Bend area, who are looking for a senator who will stand up for their rights and work to improve their quality of life.

With a strong platform and a clear vision for the future of Senate District 3, Darryl Parks is making a compelling case for his election to the Florida Senate.

Early voting in Florida has started. It ends on November 3rd.
