Counseling services
College can bring challenges that extend well beyond the classroom, from homesickness and relationship problems to academic stress, substance use, anxiety and depression.
FAMU's Office of Counseling Services provides a confidential, professional environment where students can discuss personal and academic concerns. Counseling is available throughout a student's college journey, from orientation through graduation.

FAMU Student Health Services provides convenient, affordable care for illnesses and injuries, along with immunizations, nutrition services and other health support. The center is staffed by physicians, advanced nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, certified medical assistants and support personnel.
