As we prepare to launch the new Rattler Nation webzine, the FAMU National Alumni Association (NAA) is preparing to kick off the year with its 2006 Winter Meeting in sunny Miami, January 5-7. The meeting will be held at the Radisson Hotel, 1601 Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami.
NAA leaders say that the winter meeting will provide FAMU Alumni an opportunity to get an up-to-date report on the status of "the U" from the interim president. Another added feature of the meeting is the opportunity to have input in the Presidential search process. We are told that the Presidential Search Committee plans to conduct an alumni focus group at the meeting.
