Just when you were ready to cut the highly scripted BOT meeting off, former Pharmacy Dean and former Interim President Henry Lewis and the Pharmacy faculty rolled up on Interim President Bryant all John Gotti like and beat back a proposal by her to redirect some College of Pharmacy money to the University. The showdown was high drama and clearly the highlight of the meeting. The BOT sided with the Pharmacy staff and left IP Bryant sitting there with her lips poked out.Not to be out done, the UFF President Bill Tucker, and crew, followed Mr. Lewis to inquire about faculty raises. Tucker & Co. didn't leave with the success of Lewis & Co, but stepped the drama up a bit when the group, complete with placards, broke out into a couple of choruses of "We Shall Overcome!"
Was that to redirect some College of Pharmacy money?

ReplyDeleteI just want to say I love the post. I was the student that was there with Dr. Lewis and other pharmacy administrators. Glad to see that someone was paying attention and is not afraid to say the truth. Kinda funny if I must say so. Thanks
