Ulyses B. Hooks, Jr., a FAMU graduate, recently published his first book "Guardian Angels Along My Homeless Path" which is now available through Amazon.com.
The book chronicles his periods of homelessness in pursuit of a college education.
Thourghout Ulyses' unfortunate circumstances he earned a Bachelors degree in Sociology and a Masters in Criminology while sleeping mostly in and out of homeless shelters, abandoned buildings and on street corners.
This is a very interesting story, for those interested in non-violent offenders trying to re-enter society.
