In between moma's home cooking, I thought I'd take this opportunity to catch up on the goings on at what used to be the "College of Love & Charity" which Castell & Co. has turned into her very own personal "bully pulpit", which by-the-way, lacks love or charity... Trustee Rev. R.B. Holmes has asked Gov. Bush to appoint an independent body to look into the "Girl Gone Wild's" abrupt dismissal of the University's Inspector General. The I.G. maintains that he was in the midst of investigating possible wrong doing at the "highest levels of the university's administration." See: Holmes Ask Gov. to Investigate FAMU
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Governor has said he's unlikely to intervene. See: AP Story: Bush asked to intervene in school's controversy
Finally, Stephanie Wilson today became the second African American woman to make it into space when Space Shuttle Discovery took off today. See: Discovery returns to space Also see: Black Woman in Space
Excellent blog to help us Rattlers to keep up with all that's going on at FAMU. BTW, it's Stephanie Wilson, not Williams.
