Others are starting to pick up on what we've been saying on this page all along. Take a look at this mornings Tallahassee Democrat article: FAMU Surplus in Doubt
The Democrat article also references the matter of interim Inspector General Michael Brown, who last month was placed on leave, and Mrs. Bryant's response to his complaint. We have a copy of both Mr. Brown's complaint and Mrs. Bryant's response. Which we will post later for your review.
Among the items Mr. Brown had requested from Mrs. Bryant before abruptly being placed on leave were:
• All available tapes, transcripts, or minutes of Executive Leadership Meetings that have taken place from November 2005 through June 2006.
• Tapes or transcripts of the Audit Committee meeting held on June 1, 2006.
• Transcripts of all Board of Trustees (BOT) meetings since November 2005.
• …access to various university e-mail accounts …

ReplyDeleteWhen is So. Florida gonna start making some noise? They mighty quiet. Are they down with Castell and Corbin's destruction of FAMU?
Castell (couldn't run water if she had the instructions to the faucet), Corbin (I want my wife's company to underwrite all of FAMU's construction bonds), and Lowe (the Dollar General Queen) are all Bush cronies! BTW, look at the annual report and post here the amount that any of them contributed to FAMU. They're NOT there to build up FAMU, but to dismantle it.
ReplyDeleteWhen is So. Florida gonna start making some noise? You can make all of the noise you want, but if the political horses aren't there to carry you through, it become just that- noise. And we know that it's all politics, with a few thieves mixed in.
Hey RN if the BOT is Dr. Bryant's boss why can't they get some straight answers from her. Why don't they sit down and try to find out why the Brown dude was all cloak and daggers in this investigation. I am sure this was not his first investigation and he must have thought there was something to investigate to go out there asking for those documents from the big house like that.
