Money to fund new construction projects at state universities, including FAMU, could run short over the next three years as PECO funds which finance kindergarter through college construction is expected to run flat.

Basically, this mean new project could be limited to current projects in the pipeline and utility upgrades.

At FAMU, facilities planners are faced with delaying projects such as the $14 million Tucker Hall arts-and-sciences renovation and $21 million Gore Education Complex expansion and remodeling.

  2. Heck, I didn't even know Tucker Hall was in the works for a renovation and I work in that building and have been working in that building for over ten years. You see how in the dark we all are about such things that affect us?

  4. The $2.25M represents additional money to the already $20M cash on hand.
