Financial aid a major concern to students

Student's concerned are concerned about getting their financial aid check. Today's FAMU editorial calls it one of the most important news stories on campus, yet the paper hasn't covered it. See: Financial aid most important story

It seems a student protest to voice their concerns about financial aid was sidetracked by the University when FAMU officials told the students they didn't follow proper procedures. See: Student's didn't follow proper channels for protest

  5. It's not just students.
Anyone on federal grant money is getting short or no paychecks today.
The official story is a huge screw-up with getting budget numbers for the new fiscal year into the ERP system. They hope to have it right by the next pay period but no guarantees.

  6. I can't wait for the Joseph Wright letter to editor urging all that all the student protesters be burned at the stake.

Morale is low among students, faculty, and staff at FAMU and it is because of the curse of an administration that we have. It's time for Castell Bryant's loyal defenders to start pushing her to take some responsibility for their actions.

But would you really expect such fair-minded, rational thinking from people like Wright, Wilbert Hobbs, George Allen, or Challis Lowe?
