Barbara Mosley, associate dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences, recently took over as president of the National Society of Allied Health Professions after having served for one year as president-elect. Mosley intends to increase the association's membership, and become more actively involved with students and increase scholarly activity with allied health professionals withh regard to the elimination of health disparities in underserved communities.
Patrick Johnson, professor and director of the Division of Cardiopulmonary Sciences in the School of Allied Health Sciences, was elected to serve a two-year term as the association's secretary.
Congratulations to both of them. I guess there are silver linings in dark clouds.
ReplyDeleteI have worked with both of them. They are dedicated, reliable, hardworking and committed ( I need to tell them in person that I feel this way). FAMU will be represented in an outstnading way.
ReplyDeleteFINALLY! Some good news about faculty trying to make somethin good for us, not like the greedy faculty at the law school. I hope Ammons fires all of them! Let's all support FAMU and get rid of that shitty faculty. Sick an tired of that crap comming up in my kool aid each week.
