Her death was so, so senseless. I feel so terrible. What a tragedy and loss of a beautiful, vibrant and intelligent sister. I feel so helpless. She had not even begun to enjoy life, her children, her profession, her career or anything, really. I know that she is in a place now where there is no more pain or hurt in her life. What a terrible, terrible loss to her children, her family, her friends and the community.
ReplyDeleteI feel awful as well. She is the third person that I know personally, who has died at the hands of a partner.
ReplyDeleteWe really need to talk about this critical issue that is kinda suppressed in our community.
This is a very tragic for a very beautiful person both inside and outside. You never know what people are going thru. Though we may not ever know what really happened at least she is at peace with God. He plucked one of his "Angels." For those of us here we have to make sure that we don't stay in abusive relaationships. Get help and support our friends that may be in these relationships.
ReplyDeleteI had the privilege of working with Sheryl; a true professional but much more important, a wonderful person. She always had a friendly word, and what a big, genuine smile. I hurt for a life ended far too soon, and for two children who won't experience how terrific a human being their mother was.
