OT: Clinton takes NH; Obama finishes 2nd

Hillary Rodham Clinton overcame an 8 to 10 point deficit in the polls to upset Obama. There was a huge turnout of Democratic women for Hillary Clinton and HRC also kept even with Barack Obama among self-described liberals. Given the overwhelming support among women and the high turnout, this probably was a protest vote against the Hillary hating around Monday's teary-eyed moment.
Obama, however, gave the better speech. Yes we can!

Screw Hillary!!!!....Those tears were forced because she was advised to show more emotion by her aids. The last thing we need is an "emotional" woman in office.
ReplyDeleteOBAMA IN '08!!!!
Contrived Tears. Give me a break. This race isn't over.
ReplyDeleteGo OBAMA!
I totally agree those tears were rehearsed, and very fake......She herself knew that she was not going to overcome OBAMA....so what did she do....she faked emotions hours before polls opened.... indeed it was a tactic....if she was so-called emotional it would have been showed a long time ago....and for the record i don't consider this win any significant because she only won by 2 percentage points which says that the state is devided, as it pertains to democrats, and half wants change....now if she would have won by a large percentage point like OBAMA did in Iowa than i would think there would be trouble
ReplyDeleteTactic or not. It worked.
ReplyDeleteWinning by two percent? Doesn't matter. She won. I'm no Hillary fan. Quite the contrary. But she had a tactic and the tactic worked. Two percent is two percent. End of story.
I think Obama better get ready for the Clinton machine, you know over the next three weeks or so they are going to be coming at him like there is not tomorrow. If he can hold her off until Super Tuesday, he might have a chance, but if she lets Bill play his political game then I don't Know???
ReplyDeleteObama is just another Uncle Tom. What is he going to do to help the black man?
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell does that last comment mean? He IS the black man - he is a senator. He represents his whole state, not just the black people in the state. As president, he would work for all the people... not just the black people.
ReplyDeleteThis notion of a black man (or woman) who has assimilated into the American culture and become successful should be applauded.. not ridiculed. Its what we should all want for our children.
Take your uncle tom backwards thinking back to the civil war. It is not welcome here.
FAMU is about being successful and overcoming obstacles in an imperfect world. That is what Obama is about.
