Why Twitter and not our own university website?
ReplyDeleteBecause it is the year 2009....Keep up or get left behind. It may be a small thing but I am glad he is aware of what is going on in the real world....FAMU still needs help but it is a sign that he is with the times....
ReplyDeleteunfortunately, his interest are self-serving, if not, the university and its primary customer-base, students, would have consistent and reliable access to basic technology services.
ReplyDelete7:29 - your observation is valid and relevant!
There is absolutely nothing self serving about Dr. Ammons interest. He loves FAMU and places it 3rd in his life, behind God & his family.
ReplyDeleteRN, why censor perfectly open and fair comments on the site simply because you do not agree with the poster? I can see if the comments were just down right horrendous and foul language was used, etc. But when they aren't, what's your argument for doing so? Hey, I'm just asking. Way to go, RN. You certainly practice freedom of speech, er, writing.
ReplyDeleteThe gym looks great! May 3rd they are only giving each student who has worked hard on completeing their degree 10 tickets for graduaition...2500 tickets for general admisssion...What about those students with big family's...shame on you FAMU..all for the love of politics..and you wonder why the students dont give back!
ReplyDeletePlus, 12:23, the university is paying Bill Clinton $250,00 to come give a graduation speech. Now, I ain' mad at Clinton for charging what he charges, but if the university continuously says that it "has no $$," then I say they oughts to have found someone whose fee is a wee bit less. (BTW, I teach at the university and I can certainly see areas where quite a bit of those $$ could go. Then, too, Soledad O'Brien is getting paid a hefty price, too. And I, too, am not mad at her either. I reckon Meek is unable to charge a hefty fee like the others since he is an elected public servant, but I suspect he'll get a lil' some, some, too.
