  1. FAMU can not be serious. The athletic trainer decides not to renew his contract and somebody had the bright idea to promote somebody from within.

The dude does not have certification with any organization. PEOPLE THIS IS A LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN.

Any FAMU athlete that is injured will have no problem finding a lawyer to sue the university for negligence. There are division II schools that has more than one certified public trainer on staff.

The fact that FAMU athletic trainer is not certified is not acceptable at all. Everyone who had a say in the decision should be fired for putting FAMU in the position.

The utter stupidity that went into this decision can not be overstated. FAMU will be held liable, and there is not any insurance company in America that would not void FAMU policy student athlete, as well as risk management.

  2. This shows you the mentality of Coach Taylor. Any coach on any level will not have any unsupervise person working with their athletes.I believe Coach Taylor is woried about cutting his salary to find a good certified person.

  7. My question is, why wait until the 11th hour to ask for contributions for the turf? If you knew this was being discussed, then why did they askd months in advance as if money grows on trees?
