Warren, 60, is president and CEO of Essential Capital
Finance. According to his company website, “he received his Bachelor's Degree
in Banking and Finance from the 'Coggin School of Business' at the University
of North Florida, a graduate Degree in Business Administration from
Jacksonville University, and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Educational
Leadership at the University of North Florida.” He is also a retired U.S. Army
Reserve lieutenant colonel.
Warren replaces Richard Dent, who resigned from the FAMU
board earlier this year. His term will run through Jan. 6, 2015.
