Yesterday, the FAMU football team hit the practice field for its first
walk-through of 2012 season.
During the first segment of the practice, the Rattlers worked on
special teams with an emphasis on punt and punt
return teams. They then worked on various drills by position and
concluded the walk through with stretching exercises.
Afterwards, Head Coach Joe Taylor appeared on WTXL
News Channel 27 for an interview with anchor Abbey Maurer and
meteorologist Sean Parker.
"It was a good first day for a walk through. Everyone came back to
camp in shape. They know what is expected of them," Taylor said.
FAMU will return to the field on Thursday, August 9 at 3 p.m. for its second walk through of the NCAA's mandated acclamation period.
