The Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery will host a new art exhibit entitled: "The Fallen Shall Rise Again: New Works by Darell Threeths."

The artwork by Threeths, a FAMU alumnus, features minimalist collages and paintings reflect the quiet beauty and struggle of people from all corners of the world.

"The power to uplift when there seems to be no hope, is the question I search to answer with every collage, drawing and painting I assemble," Threets said. "With each piece of artwork I hope to bring awareness to the viewer and give a sense of encouragement to help others."

The exhibit will open Friday, October 5 with an opening reception from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. The opening is free and open to the public.  The artist will be on hand to answer questions and discuss his work.   The exhibit will be on view from October 5 through October 26.
